Joining and approval
Teachers Saving Teachers is currently operated as a sole proprietorship. Questions and purchase support: support@teacherssavingteachers.com.
Joining, applying, and listing resources carry no TST subscription or listing fee. Sellers must be at least 18, provide accurate storefront information, and pass owner review. Stripe determines payment eligibility under its own agreements; TST does not guarantee seller verification or payment availability. A public storefront does not guarantee that paid checkout is enabled.
This agreement initially covers US sellers, USD prices, and digital educational downloads. A seller may publish approved free resources while paid marketplace checkout remains closed.
Your resources and AI use
You retain your rights in the material you supply. You authorize TST to store and display your listings, previews, and approved files, and deliver purchased copies to buyers. You must own or have commercial permission for every included component.
AI-assisted and AI-generated resources are welcome when you have the necessary commercial rights. Describe material AI involvement honestly. Review every resource for accuracy, usability, grade suitability, and originality. Do not upload private student, patient, customer, or identity information. Nursing and health-science resources are educational materials; sellers must not present them as individualized clinical advice.
Titles and previews must match the delivered file. State required software, printing needs, file formats, and licensing limits before checkout. TST may request corrections, decline resources, or pause listings that breach these rules.
Fees, payments, and payouts
The platform commission is 5% of the resource price, excluding separately collected buyer tax, rounded to the nearest cent. There is no monthly TST subscription. On a $10 resource, TST receives $0.50 and the seller receives $9.50 before Stripe charges and any other applicable costs. On a $1 resource, the TST commission is $0.05. Free resources have no commission.
Buyers pay through Stripe. For other-seller direct charges, Stripe deducts payment-processing charges from that seller’s connected account in addition to the TST commission. Rates can vary by payment method, card origin, currency, account contract, and selected Stripe services. This policy does not promise a universal processing rate.
Stripe processing fees may include a fixed charge per successful payment as well as a percentage. For illustration, Stripe’s published standard US domestic online-card rate is 2.9% plus $0.30 per transaction as of October 12, 2026. At that rate, a $1 resource has approximately $0.33 in Stripe processing fees plus the $0.05 TST commission, leaving $0.62 for the seller. The fixed $0.30 has a larger impact on low-priced sales; it is not a 30% fee. This example excludes buyer tax and additional charges and does not guarantee your rate or earnings. Your Stripe agreement and transaction fee breakdown determine the actual charges. TST does not set Stripe’s fees.
Stripe controls account approval, verification, holds, reserves, bank-payout timing, and available balances. TST does not promise instant payouts. Sellers must keep their Stripe and bank information current and respond to ongoing requirements. Payout dates, available funds, reserves, refunds, disputes, and Stripe charges are subject to Stripe’s terms and account status. TST does not hold sellers’ bank details or operate a seller bank-payout service. The existing owner storefront uses a separate payment integration.
Buyer license
Unless the listing clearly grants broader rights, a purchase provides a nonexclusive license for one educator to use the resource with their own students, or one household to use it with their own children. Sellers must state any broader department, school, or commercial license in the listing.
Buyers may print copies for permitted learners and place them in a restricted learning space for those learners. They may not resell, redistribute, publicly post the original files, share download links, or use them to create a competing resale product. Editable files may be adapted for the buyer’s permitted teaching use.
Support and refunds
The refund policy is linked below. Buyers may request help at support@teacherssavingteachers.com. The seller is responsible for the resource, delivery issues, accurate listings, buyer support, refund decisions, and dispute responses. Stripe provides payment processing and refund/dispute tools under its agreements. TST does not guarantee refund approval, dispute outcomes, or a resolution deadline.
Refunds on seller direct charges are funded from the seller’s Stripe balance. A seller may remain responsible for processing or dispute fees under their Stripe agreement. For a full refund initiated through the TST tool, the integration asks Stripe to refund the original payment and the TST application fee. Stripe determines processing status and timing; approval by a seller or submission of a request is not proof of completion. Partial refunds or refunds initiated directly in Stripe may require a separate application-fee request. Stripe processing and dispute fees remain governed by Stripe’s agreement.
A verified full refund or dispute revokes further access through the TST purchase receipt. It cannot erase a copy already downloaded. Buyers must stop using a fully refunded resource.
Tax responsibilities
Sellers remain responsible for reporting their income and supplying accurate business and product information. Sales tax, VAT, marketplace collection duties, registration, filing, and remittance are separate questions. Applicable law determines whether the seller or TST has those obligations; this agreement does not shift a legal marketplace obligation merely by using seller direct charges.
Stripe’s automatic tax calculation is not a statement that required registration, collection, filing, or remittance has been completed. TST must determine its marketplace obligations and configure the applicable tax responsibility before paid marketplace sales launch. Sellers must follow the final written allocation for each applicable jurisdiction and must not collect the same tax twice.
Changes, removal, and existing purchases
Sellers may sell their resources elsewhere; this agreement imposes no TST exclusivity. Sellers must comply with any separate agreements they have with other services.
A seller may request that future sales stop. TST may pause an account or listing for policy violations or unresolved payment issues. Removing a listing does not by itself cancel a buyer’s existing license or a seller’s outstanding support, refund, or dispute obligations. Preserve authorized access to previously purchased resources where lawful.
Material changes to fees or terms should be communicated before taking effect, with renewed acceptance when appropriate. This agreement is effective October 12, 2026. Each seller must affirmatively accept its current version and disclosed commission before paid marketplace participation. TST records the version and acceptance date; renewed acceptance is required when the version or commission changes.
